Outstanding Unix Solaris Administrator

- 6 month contract - $35 per hour
- Newcastle Location
With a strong pipeline of projects set to take them through to the end of the year, this Newcastle based organisation is after an experienced Unix Solaris Administrator to join their IT Infrastructure team.
You will be working within a team on various project ta sks, involving your skills in Solaris 9 and 10, Patching and Packing, Shell Scripting, Java application servers and network configuration. It is essential that you have had previous experience supporting Unix/Linux Enterprise environments in order to hit the ground running. Your Red Hat Linux and Oracle Database experience and programming abilities in either Java or C would be an advantage.
You will also possess a professional manner, the ability to work well in a team and have excellent communication skills, along with a self-motivated attitude.
